In order to promote the high-quality development of Jiangsu's new energy and equipment manufacturing industry and accelerate the extension and complementation of related industrial chains, on October 12, 2023, Deputy Director Peng Dagang of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission led a team to Dafeng District, Yancheng City, and visited KOTA Technology, a representative enterprise of new energy equipment in Yancheng, to investigate the 2023 major project of Jiangsu Province "KOTA Technology Lithium Battery Copper Foil High-end Complete Equipment Manufacturing Project". Peng Dagang walked around and asked about important issues such as the company's industrial layout, order production, major technological and key component innovation breakthroughs, and market share. He praised KOTA Technology's achievements and plans in innovation, research and development, and future strategic layout, and urged the city and district development and reform departments to strengthen guidance and docking to provide all-round element guarantees for the construction of the KOTA project.
